Sail Series Sponsors

cyberspeed inc. has secured two sponsors for the Endurance Sailing Series. Ronstan will be official hardware supplier for the series sponsoring the trophies and TopoFusion.com will sponsoring live tracking over the internet for the series and become a technical partner for the series.  Both sponsors are important steps in continuing to build the series into a more spectator friendly series.

Ronstan is committed to a philosophy of “Quality” throughout its business practices and plans to bring the same commitment to the series. In the past only one trophy was issued to each team. In recognizing that endurance sailing is a true team sport, Ronstan has offered two trophies for each placing team that will showcase their products. In addition, Ronstan will be the official hardware supplier for the series. More information will become available as the details are finalized.

TopoFusion is GPS Mapping software for Windows. Their aim is to continually push the state of the art in mapping software forward. Along with their Windows software they have developed online event tracking using SPOT Satellite messenger units. This will make all of the races accessible to anyone with a computer online. It was a necessary step in making the Endurance Sailing Events spectator friendly. The Endurance Series will provide the tracking at the finish line of each race. 

TopoFusion.com has set up a test site to track team cyberspeed from West Palm Beach to Key West. The run will incorporate the Miami-Key Largo race and the Keys 100 race. The Keys 100 race is the first race in the Endurance Series. The team has completed the first three legs of the run with only the Keys 100 race left. The boat is currently at the Islander Resort on Islamorada which is the start of the race on April 25th.

The endurance series is a Florida based series for sailors who have a fair amount of experience and feel comfortable sailing in all types of wind and sea conditions. The series provides a challenge for all experience levels. Some of the events are in lakes/rivers and others are out in the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico and the distances range from 30 miles to 120 miles. It is the goal of the series to continue making each event more spectator friendly and initiate other activities throughout the weekend.
