Along with the new year comes lots of change. As the endurance seriesenters it's fifth year, the endurance series has split from the Harken Florida Catamaran Sailing Series. The split will allow the endurance series to focus on increasing participation at events and properly market the series.

new website
SailSeries.com is the new website for the series. The new website focuses on the series and has many new features including online series registration, a photo gallery with built in e-commerce and a subscription based newsletter. Additional features such as event registration and a team news section will be added as the series gets kicked off. The Harken Florida Catamaran Sailing Series can still be followed through 1design.net.

steeplechase updates
2007 Steeplechase updates have been posted SailSeries.com. Photos, audio releases and the CatSailor.com story.

register
SailSeries.com website registration is not required but it will allow you to register for the series, post on the forum, recieve information on the series and other advanced features. Members e-mail information will not be shared with spammers and you can unsubscribe to the newsletters at anytime.

2007 Harken Endurance Series results
The 2007 results  and trophies will be announced at the Tradewinds Reggatta in Key Largo along with the 2007 Harken Buoy Series Results. The 2008 endurance series will not be sponsored by Harken but the perpetual trophy will remain with the series.

photos
Currently usage of images from the gallery are allowed as long as the website watermark remains on the image. Full version images without watermark are available for purchase online with proceeds going toward Youth Sailing.  This policy can change once we secure a series photographer

get involved
Don't just sit on the sidelines, get involved. SailSeries.com is looking for volunteers to help with the series.

series photographer- The photographer will be able to sell images and prints directly through the website.
competition director- In charge of rules and points.
communications director- Write event stories and series updates.

history
endurance series was started by Craig Van Eaton and Brian Karr in 2004.  The buoy series was started by Brian Karr in 2005 using the same template the endurance series was created with.
